The big game is on tomorrow morning between Pakistan and India! Pakistan simply has to win this game to stay in this year’s world cup. InshaAllah Pakistan will win, despite how badly they have been playing recently! I have my doubts though. But I’m still praying that Pakistan, by some miracle start playing like they usually play and beat India to stay in the World Cup, ameen!

كل صبح كے دو بجے پاكستان اور انڈيا كے درميان كركٹ كے عالمي كپ كا اہم ترين ميچ ہونے والا ہے – اميد ہيكہ پاكستاني كركٹ ٹيم انشاءاﷲ جيت جائيگي،آمين – ہم لوگ آجكل بڑے مزے سے يہاں ميچ بذريعہ سيٹيلائٹ كہ افريقہ سے براه راست ديكھ رہے ہيں – ليكن پاكستانيوں كي كاركردگي خصوصاً ناكام بيٹينگ كي وجہ سے مزه كركره ہوكر ره گيا حالانكہ مجهے شروع ہي سے كركٹ سے زياده دلچسپي نہيں رہي ہے اور كركٹ كهيلنے سے تو خاص طور پر كوئي لگاؤ نہيں اسكے باوجود بهي دل تو ظاہر ہے يہي چاہتا كہ پاكستان كو كم از كم انڈيا سے شكست نہ ہو – اب اﷲ مياں سے بہت دعا ہے كہ پاكستاني كركٹ ٹيم كي تهوڑي بہت جو عزت ره گئ ہے وه باقي ره جاۓ – آمين، ثم آمين -

Canadian cricket team made South Africa sweat in the Cricket World Cup. This is unbelievable! South Africa is one of the better cricket teams where as Canada is new to cricket, as far as I know. As a matter of fact, it was news to me when I heard that Canada, USA, Namibia, Holland and Bangladesh are playing in the Cricket World Cup. I guess I don’t know as much about cricket as I thought I did. At least some good things are going on, eh? Pakistani team has been so disappointing so far that its made me not like cricket even more. It’d be really cool to watch cricket because Canada is doing well! Go Canada!

Regardless of how bad Pakistan has been playing, I can hardly wait for this Saturday’s Cricket game between India and Pakistan. It’s the World Cup, baby! Maybe we’ll see some good cricket for a change, inshaAllah

Note how the lights are already on in Holland, Paris, and Barcelona, and how it’s still daylight in London, Lisbon, and Madrid. The sun is still shining on the Straight of Gibraltar, and the MediterraneanSea is already in darkness. In the middle of the Atlantic Ocean you can see the Azores Islands; below them to the right are the Madeira Islands;a bit below are the Canary Islands; and further south, close to the farthest western point of Africa, the Cape Verde Islands. Note how the Sahara is huge and can be seen clearly both during daytime and nighttime. To the left, on top, is Greenland, totally frozen. Fantastic!
