Adware/Spyware/Viruses

I’d just about had it with popup windows opening up on my computer. Weird ads and stuff just opening up randomly while I was on the Internet. What a menace! I have a popup killer, which is annoying so I shut that off. It turns out that I’d inadvertently installed Huntbar and Hotbar and a lot of other crap (I don’t know how exactly that happened) but I finally got them all cleaned up using Ad-Aware. I had to manually delete Huntbar (what a major pain this is) using these instructions. Makes you wonder what kinda sick personalities these creators of virii and other parasites must be! Seems to me there is a conspiracy of Antivirus product developers: they create the viruses in the background and sell the anti-virus software to remedy the problem (that they created!)…maybe not, but its a valid point. They have the people who can do it right? Imagine if suddenly all the viruses disappeared, Norton, McAffee, Dr. Solomon would all go bankrupt eventually…unless they took matters in their own hands, right???
I wish Saddam would have a hear attack and die so the US and UK can stop this massacre! Saddam is an evil tyrant, kill him. But what about the little girl in the purple coat who lost her legs in your attempt to liberate her? God, I’m so pissed! Some people just have no fear of God, it seems! Killing innocent human beings and yet talk about animal rights! Don’t bullshit the people of the world and the people of the US that Saddam is a threat to them because he’s got weapons of mass destruction. Seems to me that the only weapons of mass destruction are the ones being used in Iraq and prior to that in Afghanistan. Don’t bullshit the people of the world that this is not about oil. According to this article, the US economy would get a huge boost if Iraqi oil was controlled by the US. Why would a capable government not do everything to take matters in their own hands and create a problem for the world that only they can later solve and make loads of money in the process??? I don’t know.

My Blog is one year old today. Yay! Its been fun to blog so much so that it almost seems like an addiction sometimes. Its been cold here all weekend, but I didn’t see the snow that was forecasted. I went and played badminton again today and it was just so much fun, alhamdulillah. Really enjoyed it. Now I am preparing to go to the Arabic Class.
Did you hear that the US is sending another 100, 000 troops to join the already present 123, 000 troops in the war with Iraq?! What in the world are they trying to do anyway? I can’t believe they are actually using their weapons of mass destruction against a country who can’t even fucking defend itself…even though they are doing a damn good job of it so far. I mean, I know that Saddam Hussein is an evil bastard who should be removed from powere as soon as possible. But that doesn’t mean you go and bomb the hell out of a country…innocent people are dying left and right! Its almost as bad as Saddam using his weapons against the Iranis or the Kurds. US seems like its on a rampage after September 11 – first it was Afghanistan, now Iraq. Makes you wonder who the hell is next on the US list of places to demolish, one would wonder! Iran, Syria, Libya, Pakistan, India, Denmark, Germany, Japan, Brazil, Russia!?

This photo was taken by Sadia on July 6th 2001 (or the 7th of June, 2001), I can’t really tell. I was driving when she took this picture, so I take all the credit, ha!

I have just added two new blogs on our site: an Articles Blog and a Photo Blog. The Articles Blog will contain articles by myself and Sadia, if we ever write any, any Friday khutbas, and any other carefully chosen articles and lectures from all over. The Photo Blog is my attempt to try and start taking some photography happening. Sadia’s taken some really good photographs and this will be a place to show-case them all.
I also added a long over due Flash Intro for the web site.
