MovableType’s version 3.1 is cooler than ever with the new release, coupled with the plugin pack.

New Gmail Account

Finally, I’ve got a Gmail account of my own. A friend of mine sent me an invitation today. I was a bit anxious about getting a gmail invite. I guess I didn’t want to get left out or something. Oooh, a gigabyte of email available for me on the Internet, from any computer in the wold. It is cool, no doubt about that. Imagine being able to access all my email from the past few years (currently saved on a DVDR) from anywhere. I could have used that in Pakistan this March, when I needed to look up some phone numbers and I had to ask my wife to find them for me in Outlook on my home PC and forward them to me. Still, I’m not sure if uploading all my private email messages to the Internet is a wise thing to do. I don’t really need to be able to access old personal emails from anywhere everyday. If I ever need to look up old emails I can always do that by remote controlling my home PC securely from any Windows PC connected to a highspeed Internet connection. I fear that even though gmail is private, there is a chance that it could get hacked one day and if it does, all my personal, private email data will become available to everyone in the world. Not that anyone out there would want to read my boring ass emails.
