I’m playing with a new toy these days: a Zen Micro Photo from Creative. I’ve been looking for a portable mp3 player type device which would have all the features that I’d use.

The Zen seemed to be the most suitable: an 8 Gigabyte hard drive with an mp3/wma player, photo slideshow, USB file storage, voice recorder, FM radio, a clock, alarm clock and calendar and an application for synchronizing Outlook Calendar, Tasks and Contacts.

If only this thing had a cell phone, with internet access, and a digital camera on the same unit, it would be all one could ever use as a personal device.

You are driving in a car at a constant speed. On your left side is a valley and on your right side is a fire engine traveling at the same speed as you. In front of you is a galloping pig which is the same size as your car and you cannot overtake it. Behind you is a helicopter flying at ground level. Both the giant pig and the helicopter are also

What must you do to safely get out of this highly dangerous situation?.

Get off the children’s carousel and, next time, don’t drink so much!!!

The Edmonton Oilers are still alive in the finals against the Carolina Hurricanes. The last game was an exciting event and I got to listen to it on the radio instead of watching it on TV. I was driving. It’s kind of oddly nostalgic to listen to a sports event on the radio – I remember listening to cricket matches on a transistor radio a long time ago (i’m not that old).

I’m not getting to watch all of the World Cup Soccer matches since they’re happening during the day when we’re all at work here in North America. So I just track the scores on my personalized google page (see my previous blog post about it). So there you have it, from the ancient to the modern, from listening to the hockey matches on the radio to following all the soccer matches online.
