Ramadan is going well, the fasting is relatively smooth – missed suhur today though – and the tarawih is simply wonderful! Alhamdulillah. The same days and nights are convered into days and nights filled with mercy – you can actually feel the rahmah (mercy of Allah) in the air. Everyone is praying and reading the Quraan and fasting. The masjid is filled with people every night. The hot tea served during a break is just achingly delicious. All the exotic food comes out during the month of Ramadan – although I’m trying to be good and not eat too much at iftar time every evening.

Ramadan is a wonderful time, mashaAllah.
