On and off, I’ve been working on a web site revamp for this here salambazar dot com. Take a peek at the future site of umairsalam.com. I’m sick and tired of stoopid designs, but hopefully, this new one will stick around for a while and stand the test of time, at least for a year or so

It seems that a lot of existing and new web sites are being converted to highly customizable and personalizable web portals. There is an array of choices that you could make your home page. I use my custom ColdFusion/Oracle addressbook/Todo List application as my IE home page so I can quickly look up my contacts or update contacts, but I’m thinking of switching to one of the following portals as my home page. My data fit nicely in google’s portal, but netvibes and pageflakes have some nice looking features…
