I stumbled upon the we.b2.0.al.izr while surfing on a web design blog. This delightful little web application creates a web 2.0 web page in mere minutes. Just fill out a brief little form and generate yourself a brand spanking new web 2.0ish web page. I did. It lets you download the html and the css files so you can actually use the design and tweak it for your liking. It doesn’t really spit out miraculous designs but its cute and a lot of fun. If you dig this kind of stuff that is.

Persepolis

I started reading graphic novels recently. Last month I picked up a few not to be missed masterpieces such as Malcolm X A Graphic Biography and Persepolis. I just finished reading the Malcolm X novel, which was done exceptionally well, I thought. And now I’m reading Persepolis, the first of the two graphic novels by the French-Iranian Marjane Satrape. I heard about the artist and her graphic novels (and now a movie) from CBC’s Jian Ghomeshi on his show Q. Marjane Satrape has also completed the second Persepolis novel, simply named Persepolis 2. And now there is a major animated motion picture based on her work also called Persepolis, French with English subtitles. I highly recommend the novels. I have yet to see the movie.
