Last night’s lunar eclipse, also shot from Calgary!

Comiqs.com lets you unleash the hidden comic strip artist in you. Their technology lets you import your image or drawing (or you can retrieve a free one from flickr), add comics items such as a dialog or thought box, add text and publish via an embeddable flash, youtube like box. Very creative and simple. It could be used for all sorts of things apart from just comics. I can envison this being used in advertising, greeting cards and other such things. Clearly, I’m no cartoonist, so I just embedded a Bart Simpson with a blurb from a web site showcasing famous sayings by one of the stars of the show, Homer Simpson. If you have a talent itching to express itself but you ain’t got the time or the resources, definitely try Comiqs. Take a look at my attempte below.
