The month of Zul Hijjah is fast approaching and people from all over the world are starting to leave for their once in a life time pilgrimage to the cities of Mecca and Medina in Saudi Arabia for the Hajj. It is an amazing act of worship where people from all walks of life, all cultures and backgrounds gather together in harmony to perform the Hajj all at once. We’re talking millions of people from all over the world. Its a logistical feat to have so many people together in one place. Want to learn more about the Hajj? Check out the Hajj Information Center at Islamicity.ca. Want to see pictures from Hajj, take a look at these albums: Medina 1427 and Mecca 1427.
