A few weeks ago was the 40th anniversary of the 1st time man set foot on the moon on the historical Apollo 11 mission making Neal Armstrong the first man to set foot on a heavenly body other than Earth.

I decided to evaluate Windows 7 Beta version. It’s free for a year and looks pretty promising so far: boots up fast and doesn’t seem to be bloated all over the place. Looks like Microsoft finally has a winner. I never really used Vista so I couldn’t say how much of a failure it really was. I feel old having used Windows 3.1 off of floppy disks (what the heck are those?). I started computing on a computer without a hard drive: the entire OS was on a disk (DOS – disk operating system). Using an iPhone for everything these days seems so Star-Trek.
